‘ShaRkPG’ Sequel Maneater 2 Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC
Simone Publisher Tripwire Interactive and co-developer Demiurge Studios have announced Maneater 2, the sequel to the 2020 open-world ShaRkPG, scheduled to launch in 2027. Revealed during PlayStation’s State of Play, the game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Maneater 2 traps players inside Neptune’s Kingdom, an ultra-luxury seaside theme park inspired by the grandeur of Ancient Rome. As a bull shark, players must wreak havoc on an invite-only VIP preview event hosted for influencers and elite media.
The sequel builds on its predecessor with five new genetic modification paths created by the park’s bioengineers, expanded marine prey (including pufferfish, jumbo crabs, and piranhas), and high-fidelity ocean ecosystems. Voice actor Chris Parnell also returns as narrator and disgraced reality TV host Trip Westhaven.
Maneater 2 releases in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
