DaRmaZat ATLUS has officially opened pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its acclaimed fantasy RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio. Alongside the pre-order launch, ATLUS debuted the first video in a new character trailer series, focusing on the game’s protagonist.
Originally released in 2024 to critical acclaim – earning a 94 Metacritic score, winning Best Role-Playing Game, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction at The Game Awards 2024, and becoming ATLUS’s fastest-selling title after moving one million units on its first day – Metaphor: ReFantazio places players in a kingdom facing political upheaval and ruin. To save the realm and claim the throne, players must overcome fear, awaken magical Archetype powers, and build bonds with allies across a fantasy world.
Metaphor: ReFantazio launches digitally and physically for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026. The game is already available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox on PC.
