A new six-minute gameplay overview trailer has been released for action-adventure crime epic Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, offering a deeper look at combat, side activities, and newly introduced gameplay modes ahead of launch on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on February 12, 2026.

The trailer highlights Kazuma Kiryu’s attempt at a quieter life in Yakuza Kiwami 3, set against the sun-soaked backdrop of Okinawa. His peaceful days at the Morning Glory Orphanage are quickly shattered as outside forces threaten the children and their home, forcing Kiryu back into conflict. The footage showcases the Okinawa-inspired Ryukyu Style, a faster and more aggressive combat approach, alongside upgraded fighting mechanics, new minigames, and the debut of Bad Boy Dragon mode, which adds a strategic layer to Kiryu’s journey.
Bad Boy Dragon expands the experience by placing Kiryu in a leadership role, tasking him with assembling and training a delinquent crew to defend Okinawa’s streets. Players can customize weapons, uniforms, and motorcycles, engage in large-scale gang rumbles, and take part in coordinated skirmishes that blend brawler combat with light strategy elements.
The trailer also dives into Dark Ties, a parallel storyline centered on Yoshitaka Mine. As Mine, players support Tsuyoshi Kanda’s climb through the underworld by resolving disputes and tackling narrative-driven missions across the city. A major highlight is Hell’s Arena, an underground fight club featuring brutal combat challenges, including intense one-on-one bouts and high-risk Survival Hell encounters that combine dungeon exploration with relentless pursuit.
