Indie developer Unison Games has released a substantial demo update for Descent of Lunaris, its surreal psychological sci-fi dungeon crawler inspired by classics like Wizardry, Shin Megami Tensei, and Persona.

Set in 2070, Descent of Lunaris‘ story follows specialized operatives investigating a lunar mining base where automated machinery has turned on its creators, plunging the team into an increasingly warped and disturbing subterranean labyrinth.
Combining grid-based dungeon exploration with tactical turn-based combat, the updated demo covers the entire prologue and first dungeon. It also introduces a unique stability mechanic: the deeper you explore, the more your mental state deteriorates, altering the dungeon layout and summoning tougher threats. You’ll need to retreat to the moonbase to regroup and upgrade your gear.
Descent of Lunaris‘ demo is available now for PC via Steam, with a full release window yet to be announced.
