Developer Ravine Games has announced that RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores has been pushed back to early 2027 following a mutual separation from its publisher.

However, the studio confirmed that it has secured independent funding to complete development, choosing to extend its production timeline to flesh out expanded gameplay systems – including expanded trade, diplomacy, world-map economy, and revamped combat mechanics. While the Early Access release is delayed, players will receive additional testing opportunities ahead of launch, with the next closed beta playtest scheduled to run from November 2 to November 9.
RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores is a kingdom-building strategy RPG about the Raevins, a fox-like civilization spreading across the continent of Nytland. You can build settlements without a grid, manage trade routes, explore different regions, recruit and customize heroes, and take part in tactical battles across varied biomes. Your choices also shape the story as you expand your kingdom through diplomacy or conquest.
RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores is in development for PC via Steam.
