Publisher PLAYISM and developer .iris have announced that 3D psychological horror adventure A Passing in the Night will feature a fully voiced playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Attendees visiting the PLAYISM booth can experience an early story scene where protagonist Kai faces a high-stakes choice posed by a mysterious demon. Visitors who play the demo will also receive an exclusive Night Stroll Bag giveaway item.

Developed by .iris, A Passing in the Night follows Kai, a young man who wakes from a dream to find himself exploring a surreal, apparition-filled city at night. Trapped in a high-stakes encounter, Kai is given one hour by a demon to decide whether to surrender his most precious memory in exchange for freedom from emotional pain or retain his memories and endure the suffering of waking life.
A Passing in the Night will feature a fully voiced playable demo at the PLAYISM booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to September 21, ahead of its planned 2026 release on PC via Steam.
