DaRmaZat Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man: Dual Override will release in spring 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
During the September 2026 Nintendo Direct, Capcom showcased a new gameplay trailer highlighting Proto Man as a second playable character alongside Mega Man. Unlike Mega Man’s ranged gameplay, Proto Man offers close-quarters combat with a shield-charge and boomerang attacks, accompanied by a heat gauge mechanic to manage in battle.
The game features the new Override system, allowing both characters to temporarily boost their abilities beyond normal limits, and a Custom Chip system to personalize loadouts. Capcom also revealed brand-new Mega Man and Proto Man amiibo figures, scheduled to launch on the same day as the game.
Mega Man: Dual Override releases in spring 2027 across all major console platforms and PC.
