Co-developers Amber Games and Kenei Design have announced HEIMA, an “immersive spatial puzzle action game” scheduled to launch for PC via Steam in 2028. The title is directed by Kenei Hayama and designed by Yuki Nishimura, both former core developers on Terra Battle. Selected for the Japanese government’s Agency for Cultural Affairs Emerging Media Arts Creators project, HEIMA will be publicly playable for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

The game follows a boy named Eigen who journeys through parallel dimensions with distinct physical laws in search of his missing older brother, Shunei, who disappeared during a teleportation experiment. Along his path, Eigen meets alternate versions of himself with varying personalities and backgrounds. Gameplay centers on environmental spatial puzzles using two core mechanics: SHIFT, which swaps the physical positions of objects, and HOLD, which freezes objects in place.
HEIMA will launch for PC via Steam in 2028, with its debut playable demo featured at Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to 21.
