Developer DeskWorks Inc. has announced that action-adventure game Chronoscript: The Endless End has shifted its release window from Fall 2026 to Early Summer 2027 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, where a playable demo remains available.

Chronoscript: The Endless End follows Frederick G. Muller, an editor trapped inside a 1,000-year-old manuscript written by an immortal vampire author. The game switches between a 3D grand manor filled with thousands of manuscript pages and the hand-drawn 2D pen-and-ink worlds found inside them. You’ll tackle challenging 2D platforming combat, use ink-submersion abilities, and solve spatial puzzles across different historical eras while fighting corrupted souls known as the Ruined and trying to bring the story to an end.
According to director Tom Fujii, the game is now fully playable from start to finish, with the studio using the additional development time to polish performance and implement demo feedback.
