French developer Nova-box has announced that its upcoming narrative title, After the Wane, will officially launch on November 10, 2026. Along with the launch date, Nova-box announced that the title has surpassed 7,500 Steam wishlists – a pre-launch record for the studio – and will feature playable builds at several autumn events across France.

The release date announcement coincided with a new trailer detailing the game’s story and world. Set in the high-stakes world of professional ballet, After the Wane follows Lena, a young dancer navigating urban life, artistic rivalries, and personal relationships while searching for her mother and coping with a mysterious inner voice. The interactive narrative uses rotoscoped animation to recreate authentic dance performances alongside a reactive soundtrack composed by long-time studio collaborators Illustrason.
After the Wane launches November 10, 2026, on PC (Windows, Mac, and Linux/SteamOS) via Steam, with a Nintendo Switch release further down the pipeline.
