ONTOS Shows Off Mind Transfer Experiments in Extended Gameplay Breakdown
Simone Sci-fi psychological thriller ONTOS has received an extended gameplay breakdown, showing more of its first-person gameplay and the strange experiments players will encounter inside the lunar outpost Hotel Samsara.
In ONTOS, you play as Aditi Amani, who is searching for answers about her estranged father while navigating the abandoned luxury hotel and former mining colony.
The footage highlights terminal hacking, environmental interactions, and the game’s Experiments, where manipulating machines and test subjects can lead to different outcomes. One of these is Crombie’s Experiment, which involves a consciousness trapped inside a wetware rat server and forces Aditi to make a choice before attempting a mind transfer.
ONTOS is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
