Simone Square Enix has released the second official trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, titled The Planet’s Crisis, showcasing the final chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy.
The trailer features the emergence of colossal Weapons tasked with defending the world, creating destruction without distinguishing between friend or foe. Cloud Strife and the party must confront these threats across desert sands, aerial dogfights, and deep-sea encounters while continuing the race against Sephiroth and the descending Meteor. Exploration expands significantly with full global travel via the Highwind airship, parachuting drops, grappling hooks, Chocobo mounts, and a new FITS outfit system that provides classic Final Fantasy job abilities like Warrior and Black Mage.
Combat in Revelation retains the series’ hybrid action and Tactical Mode system, expanded with new party members and abilities. Save data from Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will unlock special Leviathan and Phoenix Summon Materia bonuses for returning save files.
Release plans target a spring 2027 arrival on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
