DaRmaZat Developer MBC Game Studio has officially revealed 1001 Threads of Mizan, a cooperative action-adventure inspired by the folklore of One Thousand and One Nights. Formed by industry veterans with experience from BioWare, Hi-Rez Studios, Ubisoft Montreal, and Bungie, the team debuted the title with a pre-alpha demo on Gamescom 2026.
Designed for one to three participants, the game centers around soaring across mythical landscapes on flying carpets and battling giant jinn creatures. Traversal and combat blend together seamlessly, allowing teams to dive, strike, and maneuver mid-air. The narrative follows three unique heroes alongside the storyweaver Shahrazad, attempting to uncover ancient technologies from lost civilizations to defend humanity against a growing jinn invasion.
Release platforms include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A release window has not yet been specified.
