Finji has officially locked in a release date for its upcoming title, Usual June. The supernatural third-person action-adventure game is set to launch on PC via Steam on October 28.

Led by creative director Adam Saltsman (Overland, Canabalt), the game takes place in Fen Harbor, a city teetering on the brink of total destruction. The protagonist must navigate an unraveling mystery by bridging the gap between two worlds – using the supernatural photographic memories of ghosts alongside the physical interactions of the living.
Usual June‘s gameplay blends fast-paced arena fights with deep exploration through creepy spots like abandoned subway stations, hidden underground tunnels, a haunted observatory, and a surreal otherworldly realm. You get to dash, dodge, parry, and pull off flashy super moves, shifting your fighting style on the fly by swapping gear and customizing loadouts to counter different mob types.
As you gain XP and level up, you unlock powerful supernatural skills – but every new ability comes with a hidden catch you have to figure out for yourself. When you step away from combat, you work alongside 25 living and dead NPCs, using the memories of ghosts to solve the mystery and save the city before time runs out.
