Metro 2039 Unveils Replica Helmet Collector's Edition and Renegade Trailer

Developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver have revealed first details for the Metro 2039 Collector’s Edition via a teaser trailer at Gamescom 2026.

Update – August 25, 2026: Alongside the reveal, the companies debuted the Renegade Trailer for the upcoming FPS at Gamescom 2026.

The flagship physical release features a life-size replica of the protagonist’s battle-scarred Spartan helmet. Crafted directly from the in-game 3D assets, the helmet features custom modifications, battle damage, a hinged visor, and integrated gas-mask elements. The collectible will be available exclusively as part of the Collector’s Edition.

Metro 2039 follows The Stranger, a vengeful protagonist seeking to overthrow a totalitarian regime inside the subterranean tunnels. Led by Hunter, a fanatical former Spartan Ranger, the faction has assumed total control of the Metro. Gameplay in the upcoming narrative-driven first-person shooter preserves the franchise’s signature diegetic mechanics, stealth encounters, and environmental exploration across both surface ruins and underground tunnels.

METRO 2039 is set to release in February 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with pre-orders opening later this year.
