A new trailer for the cinematic steampunk horror adventure They Will Come is scheduled to debut at the Future Games Show on June 6, 2026. Alongside the trailer announcement, developer Game Pop Studio confirmed that the independent title will officially launch on PC via Steam in July 2026.

Set in an alternate version of 1897, the narrative takes place aboard the Endeavor, a massive industrial airship used for manufacturing powerful automatons. You control an eleven-year-old protagonist named Benjamin after a crow-masked cult known as the Wretched Ones seizes the vessel and takes his family hostage. Armed with a slingshot, Benjamin must traverse the continuous, hostile environments of the ship to locate and reactivate Talus, a massive, dormant robot companion waiting in the hangar below, in an effort to rescue his family.
Gameplay is presented from a close, cinematic over-the-shoulder third-person perspective with a heavy emphasis on stealth-first survival. Because the young protagonist is highly vulnerable, you must navigate maintenance tunnels, catwalks, and shadow-filled decks by timing movements and solving environmental puzzles.
The mechanics also involve deploying small miniature automatons called Embots to scavenge for energy cells. These cells are required to recharge Talus, who initially functions as a hollow hiding sanctuary but eventually grants the player heavy offensive capabilities once fully powered.
