Publisher Stormind Games and Soft Source Publishing have released a new story-focused trailer for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the latest entry in the survival horror franchise. The footage centers on the disappearance of six young girls in Sicily and the personal stakes for the protagonist, Susan, whose daughter Agata is among the missing.

Thirteen months after the initial vanishings, a mysterious recording prompts Susan to investigate a decaying noble residence on the slopes of Mount Etna. Once owned by the Ashmann family, the estate serves as the backdrop for a journey into psychological terror, where players must navigate a labyrinth of relentless stalkers and supernatural phenomena. The story aims to bridge the gap for both newcomers and longtime fans by diving into the origins of the Red Nun myth and the secrets of the Cristo Morente convent.
The game introduces new mechanics to the series, specifically focusing on hypnosis and environmental manipulation. Players can “read” objects to uncover forgotten memories and reveal concealed passages. Alongside these new features, the title retains the series’ core stealth-driven gameplay, requiring players to evade murderous enemies and use the environment to survive.
Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is scheduled for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
