DaRmaZat The dark-comedy co-op survival game JOIN US is now targeting a Fall 2026 release for PC via Steam, as confirmed by Montreal-based developer Wolf Haus Games alongside the debut of a second official trailer.
Originally revealed last year, JOIN US casts players as a devoted recruit tasked with establishing and expanding a doomsday cult in rural Bedford County, USA. Blending open-world survival sandbox mechanics with narrative-driven structure, the game combines base building, follower management, and third-person combat within a satirical framework shaped by grindhouse sensibilities and absurdist humor.
The newly released Trailer #2, showcased during IGN Fan Fest 2026, confirms the Fall launch window while offering a deeper look at the game’s dynamic Teaching System. Rather than locking players into predefined archetypes, JOIN US allows them to construct their cult’s ideology organically. Teachings function as modular belief structures that can be enacted, combined, and escalated over time, creating strategic trade-offs. Certain doctrines may boost recruitment or morale in the short term, only to trigger unrest or instability if neglected later, reinforcing the game’s systemic push-and-pull design philosophy.
Beyond sandbox systems, JOIN US also features a fully scripted narrative campaign. The development team recorded over twelve thousand lines of dialogue, supporting roughly thirty-five main missions, more than twenty side missions, and additional procedural objectives. Players can engage with the structured story content or opt for a more open-ended sandbox approach, shaping their cult’s expansion at their own pace.
The experience supports single-player and up to four-player co-op, launching with peer-to-peer hosting while dedicated servers remain a priority for the team. As players recruit followers, construct fortified compounds from an elevated Leader Mode perspective, and defend their territory with unconventional weaponry, the world reacts dynamically to their influence and growing presence.
Visually, the new trailer teases surreal imagery, including a striking pink-hued environment inspired by vintage infrared military film stock, hinting at deeper narrative layers yet to be fully revealed. With more than 200,000 wishlists already accumulated on Steam, JOIN US continues to build momentum ahead of its Fall 2026 PC release, with a firm launch date expected to be announced later this Summer.
