Open-world dark fantasy action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker from developer Rebel Wolves is scheduled to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. As development moves into its launch year, the studio has released a special update celebrating the 2026 Full Wolf Moon, unveiling several new pieces of content tied directly to the game’s presentation and atmosphere.

As part of the “Launch Year Special”, Rebel Wolves shared a new gameplay teaser offering a brief but focused look at the experience players can expect as development continues. Alongside the footage, the studio officially revealed the game’s cover art, featuring protagonist Coen, the titular Dawnwalker. The artwork emphasizes Coen’s dual nature as a being caught between humanity and vampirism, reinforcing one of the core themes that defines the game’s narrative and identity.
The update also introduced The Blood of Dawnwalker’s main musical theme, released together with an accompanying music video. Composed by lead composer Nikola Kołodziejczyk and performed by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy, the piece draws inspiration from 14th-century musical traditions and the forests of the Carpathian Mountains, the region that serves as the backdrop for the game’s world. The composition is intended to reflect both the historical grounding and the supernatural tension that shape the setting.
Rebel Wolves has confirmed that additional insight into the game’s music and creative process, including exclusive commentary from the lead composer, will be shared in an upcoming Community Bulletin Board scheduled for release next week. The Blood of Dawnwalker remains set to launch in 2026.
