Aya Games has confirmed that Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, its upcoming surreal 2.5D narrative platformer, will now launch on October 29, 2025 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Console versions remain planned for a later date. The release was previously scheduled for September 25, but the studio explained that the extra time will allow them to further polish the game and enhance the overall experience.

Aysa: Shadows of Silence tells the wordless story of Ayasa, a young girl journeying across fractured dreamscapes where forces of Love, Faith, and Hope collide with Greed, Betrayal, and Indifference. The narrative unfolds without dialogue, relying instead on pantomime, visual allegories, and Komitas-inspired music. Its surreal tone draws influence from the philosophical worlds of René Laloux, the allegories of Robert Sahakyants, the poetic storytelling of Hayao Miyazaki, and the darker visions of Tim Burton.
As players traverse these shifting realms, they must use Ayasa’s unusual abilities—including time manipulation, invisibility, and energy control—to survive challenges and solve puzzles. Every decision shapes her fate, opening paths toward redemption or descent into tyranny. Aya Games has described the project as “a poetic journey through conscience, where the greatest battle lies within.”
