Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have released a free demo for Little Nightmares III on PlayStation 4 & 5 (nl-BE), Xbox One & Series X|S (US, nl-BE), Nintendo Switch (US) & Switch 2 (US), and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The demo showcases the game’s opening chapter, set in the eerie Necropolis, giving players a 30-minute glimpse into its unsettling world.

The standalone story follows Low and Alone, two friends navigating the Spiral, a series of warped lands consumed by delusion. To survive, they must rely on each other while evading sinister traps and facing terrifying inhabitants like the monstrous Baby, whose gaze can turn victims to stone. For the first time in the series, players can experience online co-op on the same platform, or take on the journey solo with an AI companion.
Progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full release, which arrives October 10. Little Nightmares III continues the series’ tradition of blending cinematic tension with atmospheric horror, inviting both newcomers and longtime fans to step back into its darkly imaginative universe.
