Monster Fantasy Opens Steam Playtest Sign-Ups Following 100,000 Wishlist Milestone

Developer Jotoyo Games has announced that its upcoming action-RPG and life-simulation title, Monster Fantasy, will launch its first public playtest on September 22, 2026.

Following the initial reveal in June and crossing 100,000 wishlists on Steam, sign-ups are now open on the game’s store page. The limited-time test offers players a hands-on preview of the core gameplay systems ahead of its targeted 2027 release.

Monster Fantasy combines action-RPG combat with a cozy life-sim, letting you explore the Kingdom of Eldoras solo or in four-player online co-op. You can hunt colossal monsters like Fire Dragons with different combat classes, or spend your time taming creatures, crafting, or just getting to know villagers.

Monster Fantasy is in development for PC via Steam, targeting a full release in 2027.
