Marvel’s Wolverine Receives Launch Trailer Ahead of September 15 PS5 Release

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games have released the launch trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, showcasing a final look at the action title ahead of its September 15, 2026 release exclusively on PlayStation 5.

Following up on their work with the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, Insomniac Games delivers a standalone narrative centering on Logan’s search for answers about his forgotten origin. The game abandons the developer’s traditional open-world design for a globe-spanning linear thriller, sending players across distinct biomes including the urban streets of Tokyo, the neon-lit island nation of Madripoor, and the frozen wilderness of Canada. Combat focuses on fast-paced, visceral claw encounters, brutal finisher animations, and dynamic rage mechanics.

Throughout the campaign, Logan crosses paths with allies and iconic Marvel adversaries, including Mystique, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, Bolivar Trask, and the Cybernetic Reavers.
