Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Rebel Wolves have released a new five-minute trailer for open-world dark fantasy action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker, detailing how the game runs on console hardware.
Update – August 25, 2026: Rebel Wolves confirmed a day-one 60 frames per second Performance Mode for The Blood of Dawnwalker on PS5 and PS5 Pro.

The video showcases performance details for PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. All three platforms offer two distinct settings: a Quality mode targeting dynamic 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, and a Balanced mode targeting dynamic 4K resolution at 40 frames per second.
Set in 14th-century Europe, The Blood of Dawnwalker‘s story centers on Coen, a Dawnwalker who lives as a human by day and a vampire by night. You have a strict limit of 30 days and 30 nights to rescue his family from the vampire lord Brencis in Vale Sangora. Because time moves forward whenever you accept or progress quests, prioritizing every choice is essential. Combat caters to different playstyles, offering an accessible single-button setup alongside a precise, directional system built for parries and ripostes.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launches on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, with pre-orders currently open across all platforms.
