Developer Frogwares has released a new five-minute game overview trailer for Lovecraftian survival horror sequel The Sinking City 2, showcasing its flooded setting and resource-focused combat ahead of its August 18 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The video takes a closer look at the decaying city of Arkham and details the dynamic between dual protagonists Calvin Rafferty and Faye Bennett. Survival mechanics require managing scarce ammo and resources while investigating the city’s supernatural mysteries.
Alongside the gameplay footage, Frogwares revealed that Andrew Wheildon-Dennis (Baldur’s Gate III) and Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones, Elden Ring) voice Calvin and Faye respectively.
The Sinking City 2 launches August 18 on Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Recently, we had the chance to get hands-on experience with an early demo of the game. You can read our preliminary thoughts in our hands-on preview.
