Ghost of Yōtei Expansion “Echoes of Sekigahara” and Survival Mode Announced for October 1
DaRmaZat Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Sucker Punch Productions have announced a major content update for Ghost of Yōtei, launching October 1, 2026, alongside a physical and digital Complete Edition.
The update introduces Echoes of Sekigahara, a new narrative expansion split between present-day Ezo and flashbacks to protagonist Atsu’s time during the Battle of Sekigahara. Players will explore a new valley, fight fresh enemy types, and unlock heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes.
Alongside the story expansion, a new single-player roguelike combat survival mode called Most Wanted lets players take on bounties, unlock run-based perks, and play as multiple characters – including Atsu, Oyuki, and Nagato – each specializing in distinct weapons like dual katanas, the kusarigama, and the yari.
The new content will arrive alongside a standalone Complete Edition ($69.99), while existing game owners can access everything via a $14.99 / €14.99 upgrade.
