Developer HO! Games and funding partner Outersloth have officially announced the release date for their psychological horror game, Am I Nima. Revealed during the Story-Rich Showcase on June 6th, the game is scheduled to launch on October 8th, 2026 for PC via Steam. A demo is currently available as well.

In Am I Nima, you control a young girl who must convince her mother that she really is her daughter to get her to trust her. The core gameplay mechanic requires you to use investigative skills to explore Nima’s brain and find words. You carefully need to combine these words in your brain and use them to speak and guide conversations. Discovering specific phrases gradually unlocks hidden memories and reveals more of Nima’s story.
According to director Jeremy Ho, the title has accumulated over 120,000 wishlists since its initial reveal in late 2024. The showcase featured a new trailer displaying fresh footage and gameplay, marking the first time new material has been shown since June 2025. This trailer introduces new rooms to explore and new tests to face. As more of the narrative is uncovered, players will face questions regarding why the mother has locked the protagonist in the basement, what the tests mean, and whether she really is Nima.
