The survival management game Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will launch for PC via Steam on January 12, 2026, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Brigada Games announced, alongside the release of a new trailer.

Set during a rapidly escalating zombie outbreak, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check places players in control of a high-risk border checkpoint where every decision can mean life or death. Using advanced screening tools as well as personal judgment, players must inspect survivors attempting to pass through the quarantine line, identifying signs of infection before it is too late. A single mistake can allow the outbreak to spread beyond containment.
Beyond moment-to-moment inspections, the game expands into broader survival management. Players are tasked with maintaining limited resources, reinforcing checkpoint defenses, and keeping the surrounding camp operational as conditions worsen day by day. As panic grows and pressure mounts, balancing compassion with caution becomes increasingly difficult, turning the checkpoint into a moral and strategic battleground.
Brigada Games has also confirmed that previously used generative AI voice-over content from early demos has been fully removed, with the development team committing to a revised presentation ahead of launch. With its mix of tense decision-making, resource management, and escalating threat, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check aims to deliver a grounded and suspense-driven take on the zombie survival genre when it arrives in January 2026.
