Nintendo has released a new seven-minute overview trailer for Kirby Air Riders, showcasing fresh gameplay and the return of high-speed, vehicle-based action featuring Kirby and friends. The company also confirmed details for the upcoming Global Test Ride demo (NL/US), taking place this month.

Kirby Air Riders invites players to charge, boost, and spin their way through chaotic air and ground races. Players can choose from a colorful cast including Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, Magolor, and others, each with unique stats and abilities. Machines such as the Warp Star, Winged Star, Wheelie Bike, and Tank Star offer distinct handling styles, allowing for plenty of variety in both speed and maneuverability. Players can perform Boost Charges to drift and dash at full speed, collect Copy Abilities from rivals, and use powerful Specials to dominate opponents.
The game features several modes, including City Trial, where up to sixteen players can explore the city of Skyah online or locally with eight players to collect upgrades before competing in Stadium events, and Air Ride mode, where racers battle across airborne tracks to reach the finish line first. amiibo functionality allows players to pair rider-machine dual pack figures to create customizable Figure Players that level up over time.
