Action Adventure Blood of Mehran Launches October 7 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

Publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Permanent Way have announced that Blood of Mehran, a new action adventure rooted in Persian fantasy, will release on October 7 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

The game follows Mehran, a once-legendary warrior who lays down his sword in search of peace. When betrayal and cruelty ignite his quiet life, he is forced to take up arms once again, embarking on a journey of love, loss, and vengeance inspired by the timeless tales of One Thousand and One Nights.

Players will master a variety of combat approaches, from traditional hack-and-slash encounters to stealth and ranged tactics. Mehran can wield swords, shields, bows, or dual blades, each opening up distinct strategies in battle. Mounted combat also plays a role, adding speed and mobility to encounters across sweeping desert landscapes.

Beyond combat, the adventure offers exploration of a richly realized world inspired by Ancient Mesopotamia. From bustling city streets to vast sand dunes, players can uncover secrets, gather collectibles, and expand Mehran’s abilities through an extensive skill tree that reflects his legendary prowess. Permanent Way describes the game as a fast-paced, cinematic journey that blends myth, history, and action into a modern retelling of Persian folklore.
