Brigada Games has announced that it is partnering with Devolver Digital to publish Quarantine Zone, the border checkpoint zombie survival sim. The announcement comes as the game hits 1 million wishlists and 1.5 million demo players since its debut during Steam Next Fest in May 2025.
The studio credits the incredible community—early playtesters, demo players, content creators, and 30,000+ Discord members—for helping shape the game through feedback, bug reports, and support.
With Devolver now backing the project, Brigada says it will have the resources to push Quarantine Zone even further in terms of quality, content, and reach. The added support also means the game’s release window shifts from September to November 2025, with a final date to be confirmed soon.
Players can expect more updates in the months ahead as Brigada and Devolver prepare to launch a stronger, more complete version of the game. The current demo remains live via Steam, with a new version scheduled to drop during October’s Steam Next Fest.
About the Game:
Quarantine Zone is a checkpoint survival sim set during a zombie apocalypse. As commander of the last functioning border, you’ll inspect, interrogate, and decide who lives, who gets quarantined—and who doesn’t leave alive.
