DaRmaZat Developer and publisher Lazy Games has confirmed that its first-person psychological horror title, The Event, will officially launch on PC via Steam this Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Following an initial autumn release projection and a playable demo phase, the solo-developed title is ready for its full public release.
The Event follows an amnesiac protagonist exploring an abandoned asylum, where dark corridors, unpredictable threats, and fragmented clues slowly reveal what happened there. You’ll have to hide from danger, piece together notes and testimonies, and inspect the environment to uncover the facility’s history. There’s no combat, so making progress depends on finding your way through the asylum and knowing when to stay out of sight. An internal voice also offers its thoughts when you examine objects and important evidence.
The Event launches on PC via Steam on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
