Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Launch Trailer Premieres at Gamescom ONL

Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio have revealed the official Launch Trailer for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which premiered during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. The action-adventure title launches on August 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, alongside a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass and support for Xbox Play Anywhere.

Set to a reinterpretation of Depeche Mode’s Enjoy the Silence, the trailer offers a final look at Sophia’s journey ahead of release. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy shifts the focus of the franchise to explore Sophia’s origins during the Minoan era, uncovering ancient secrets connected to the island and shedding light on the historical origins of the Macula. This entry blends dynamic melee combat, environmental puzzles, narrative exploration, and travel across coastal landscapes and underground labyrinths.

In addition to digital and physical releases, a physical Collector Box featuring exclusive collectibles is available for pre-order across Europe, with deliveries scheduled to begin in late October. The game’s original soundtrack by composer Olivier Derivière is also currently available on streaming platforms.
