DaRmaZat Publisher Ziggurat Interactive has announced Sanitarium Enhanced, bringing DreamForge Intertainment’s 1998 cult-classic psychological horror point-and-click adventure to consoles for the first time. The updated title will launch on PC (Steam, GOG), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Revealed during the inaugural Pixel Arcadia showcase, the updated release places players in the shoes of an amnesiac protagonist waking up inside a decaying asylum. To uncover the mystery behind his imprisonment, players navigate surreal environments filled with deformed children, grotesque mutants, and unsettling inmates.
This updated version introduces full controller support for consoles and Steam Deck, widescreen resolution presentation, previously unreleased bonus material, and various quality-of-life enhancements.
