Finnish Mythology Survival Game Among The Trolls Sets October Release Date

First-person narrative survival adventure Among The Trolls will officially launch on October 14, 2026, for PC via Steam.

The story follows Anna as she travels from the United States to a remote, isolated cabin in the Finnish wilderness to visit her grandfather. Upon arriving, she finds the cabin deserted and her grandfather missing, pulling her into a world steeped in Nordic mythology, shamanistic magic, and ancient folklore.

Players must survive the harsh untamed wilderness by building shelters, crafting resources, and navigating unpredictable weather and wild animals while balancing supernatural forces like Väki (Magic) and Lykky (Luck).

Though Among The Trolls was originally envisioned to include a multiplayer co-op experience during early development, the title now launches as a single-player story-driven journey focused on environmental puzzles, shamanistic secrets, and uncovering the truth behind Anna’s family heritage.
