Developer Game Science has released a 15-minute early gameplay trailer for Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the official successor to Black Myth: Wukong and the second installment in the Black Myth series. The upcoming single-player action RPG is currently in development for PC and mainstream console platforms, though an official release date has not yet been announced.

The work-in-progress footage, captured in-game at a 21:9 aspect ratio, offers a first look at the new protagonist in fast-paced combat alongside brief narrative teasers. Rooted in traditional Chinese folklore, the story follows the mythical king of ghosts and vanquisher of evil spirits as he walks the treacherous path through the Underworld.
Building upon the combat mechanics and visual fidelity established by its predecessor, the title introduces fresh abilities and complex boss encounters centered around exorcism and dark mythos.
Game Science noted that because the project remains in early production, all featured gameplay and visuals are subject to further polish before the final release.
