Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Weappy have released a new trailer titled “What Would I Draw?” for their upcoming hand-drawn side-scrolling platformer, The Eternal Life of Goldman.

The Eternal Life of Goldman tasks you with traveling across a vast Archipelago on a strange mission: to locate and defeat an unseen, mystical Deity. To navigate the islands and survive encounters with bizarre creatures, you can upgrade your cane with new components to unlock new abilities and reach hidden areas.
Developed using classic, frame-by-frame 2D animation techniques, the game aims to modernize traditional side-scrollers by eliminating confusing backtracking and repetitive memorization, encouraging precise platforming, improvisation, and discovery instead.
The Eternal Life of Goldman is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, and will also launch on Game Pass upon release. An official launch date has yet to be announced.
