Warner Bros. Games and developer TT Games have announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will officially launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, 2026. Pre-orders are now available via the Nintendo eShop for both the Standard Edition (€69,99) and the Deluxe Edition (€89,99). The open-world action-adventure title, which charts Bruce Wayne’s narrative transformation from his early origins into Gotham City’s legendary protector, is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The upcoming September 18 launch coincides with the cross-platform release of the Mayhem Collection DLC. This expansion will be granted automatically to Switch 2 Deluxe Edition owners and will arrive simultaneously as a standalone release or upgrade for existing players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The premium add-on introduces a dedicated Mayhem Mode featuring the Joker and Harley Quinn as fully playable characters, alongside a fresh narrative mission, five Batcave items, a new Batmobile, and the cosmetic Sinister Pack, which supplies seven unique suits split across the main playable cast.
Switch 2 players who opt for the digital or physical Deluxe Edition will also receive immediate launch-day access to the Legacy Collection DLC, bundles containing suits, vehicles, and Batcave decorations pulled directly from Batman Beyond and the Batman: Arkham series. Physical Deluxe Edition purchases will include a tangible retro LEGO Batman video game minifigure while supplies last, whereas all digital and physical Switch 2 pre-orders secure an in-game The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit.
