Blight: Survival, the upcoming title from Haenir Studio and publisher Behaviour Interactive, has surpassed 1.5 million wishlists on Steam, marking a major milestone for the highly anticipated medieval action-horror game.

Developer Haenir Studio has also confirmed that the title will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside the previously announced PC version. The announcement coincided with a new update shared during the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase, where the developers presented new in-engine footage and offered a brief update on the project’s progress.
Set in a brutal medieval world, Blight: Survival is a PvE action-horror experience that can be played solo or cooperatively with up to three other players. Players must venture into a war-torn no man’s land between two kingdoms to locate and destroy the source of a deadly affliction known as the Blight, which spreads across the battlefield and transforms the fallen into monstrous creatures.
Players take on the role of the Writhens, warriors tasked with venturing into the infected lands to eliminate the growing corruption. The game blends visceral directional combat with systems inspired by rogue-lite and extraction-style gameplay, encouraging players to weigh risk versus reward as they explore the dangerous territory.
Throughout their expeditions, players can discover new weapons, armor, and talents while exploring a decaying medieval world filled with hidden secrets. The experience emphasizes tense cooperative encounters against both human enemies and grotesque monsters born from the spreading Blight.
While the game’s release date has not yet been announced, the developers confirmed that additional playtests are planned for later this year. Players interested in joining the ongoing limited closed playtests can sign up via the official Behaviour Interactive playtest page.
