Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 02 Reloaded Arrives March 12; Black Ops Royale Follows Shortly After

Activision has announced that Season 02 Reloaded launches on March 12 at 18:00 CET, delivering a massive content expansion primarily focused on Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Shortly after this initial rollout, Call of Duty: Warzone will receive its own game-changing addition: the all-new Black Ops Royale.

Season 02 Reloaded Mid-Season Update

The March 12 update introduces extensive new content across Multiplayer, Zombies, and the Endgame mode:

Multiplayer: Five maps join the rotation. Players can dive into Torque (a remix of The Battle of Los Angeles) or explore Cliff Town (a reimagined version of the classic Black Ops 2 map Yemen set in Avalon). Large-scale combat continues in the 20v20 Skirmish map Mission: Peak, while the fan-favorites Grind and Firing Range (from Black Ops 6) make their return.

Zombies: A brand-new round-based map, Paradox Junction, traps the crew in a surreal time loop controlled by The Warden. This map features the explosive Rad-Hound enemy and the return of the Blundergat Wonder Weapon.

Endgame: The introduction of Glitch Fractures allows squads to enter off-map arenas to battle Glitch Bosses, earning Nightmare Skills and utilizing the Exotic Fabricator to upgrade gear into growing Exotic-tier weapons.

Black Ops Royale

While the mid-season update lays the technical foundation, the dedicated Warzone expansion arrives as a separate beat soon after.

Black Ops Royale: This new free-to-play mode is inspired by the original Blackout experience. Dropping into Avalon with minimal gear, squads must scavenge and survive using classic returning gameplay systems.

Warzone Refinement: Alongside this mode, Warzone receives a Perks Refresh (Momentum, Berserker, and Hunter) and the Extreme Resurgence weekend LTM to speed up the action.

Regardless of the mode, all players will gain access to new weaponry and events starting March 12. This includes the high-damage Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle, the four-round burst Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle, and new tactical attachments like the Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit.

The Season 02 Reloaded update will be available across all supported platforms. Players can jump into the action on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S. PC players can access the game via Battle.net, Steam, and the Microsoft Store. Additionally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 remains available for subscribers on Xbox Game Pass.
