Bandai Namco has released a new character trailer for the action RPG CODE VEIN II, spotlighting a fearsome new enemy known as the Blinded Resurgence Offspring. CODE VEIN II launches on January 29 and is available for pre-order on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The newly released trailer introduces the Blinded Resurgence Offspring, a tragic and dangerous Revenant whose vision has long since faded. Despite its blindness, the creature wields a massive katana with lethal precision, striking Revenant Hunters with unsettling speed and accuracy. The encounter highlights the sequel’s emphasis on reading enemy behavior and reacting swiftly to unpredictable attack patterns.
This reveal follows earlier character showcases for Holly Asturias and Valentin Voda, further expanding the cast players will encounter in the game’s bleak world. Set in a collapsing future where humanity and Revenants struggle to coexist, CODE VEIN II revolves around the sudden appearance of the Luna Rapacis, a catastrophic phenomenon that drives Revenants into madness and transforms them into monstrous Horrors. Players take on the role of a Revenant Hunter accompanied by Lou, a mysterious girl capable of traveling through time, allowing pivotal moments in history to be revisited and altered in an attempt to change the fate of the world.
Code Vein II builds on the original’s fast-paced action RPG combat, once again centering on blood-based mechanics that allow players to drain enemies to unleash powerful abilities. The returning Blood Code system enables deep build customization, while new weapons and equipment known as Jails add further tactical options. Partner characters remain a key part of the experience, contributing unique combat support and narrative connections that influence both battles and story progression.
