Action RPG Stupid Never Dies has been announced for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with a planned launch window set for 2026. The game is developed by GPTRACK50, a studio led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi.

Set inside a monster-ruled dungeon world where creatures live mundane lives of hierarchy and survival, Stupid Never Dies follows Davy, a timid zombie stuck at the very bottom of monster society. His motivation is deeply personal: braving a lethal dungeon to revive Julia, the frozen human he once loved. What unfolds is a single-player, blazing-fast 3D action RPG built around constant progression, absurd creativity, and relentless momentum.
Combat centers on rapid growth and experimentation. As Davy defeats enemies, he levels up at high speed, collecting strange loot and absorbing abilities from fallen foes. Enemy powers can be stolen and repurposed, while Davy’s undead body can be customized with bizarre upgrades that directly affect movement, attacks, and survivability. The result is a constantly evolving playstyle that rewards risk-taking and adaptation.
Developed by a team of veteran action game creators, Stupid Never Dies leans into fast-paced encounters and unconventional mechanics, blending dungeon crawling with a deliberately offbeat tone. The journey through the dungeon is designed to feel unpredictable, empowering players to grow stronger in unconventional ways as they push toward the impossible goal of bringing Julia back to life.
