Blumhouse Games and developer Eyes Out have released a playable demo for their upcoming first-person psychedelic horror Sleep Awake on PC via Steam. The demo went live on September 29 and offers players a first look at the disturbing world caught between sleep and death.

Set in the last known city on Earth, the story follows Katja as she struggles to stay awake while navigating a world unraveling under the mysterious phenomenon known as The HUSH, which causes people to vanish in their sleep. Players must confront deranged death cults, solve environmental puzzles, and survive a reality where the lines between the living and the dream world blur.
Directed by Cory Davis, best known for Spec Ops: The Line, alongside Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck, Sleep Awake combines immersive gameplay with FMV sequences and psychedelic imagery. The demo highlights early sections of the narrative-driven horror, giving players a glimpse of the unsettling atmosphere and survival challenges that await in the full release.
