METAL EDEN, the sci-fi first-person shooter from developer Reikon Games and publisher PLAION, will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on September 2.

Set in the vast and dangerous orbital city of Moebius, METAL EDEN follows Hyper Unit ASKA, an elite android soldier deployed on a high-risk mission to recover COREs—the digital remnants of human consciousness—trapped inside the city’s industrial maze. What was once a symbol of hope for a new civilization has turned into a deadly battleground, and only ASKA has the speed, strength, and tech to face the threat head-on.
The game features high-velocity combat centered around parkour movement and cybernetic warfare. As ASKA, players will dash, grapple, wall-run, and jetpack through brutalist corridors and mechanized outposts, using acrobatic precision to outmaneuver enemy forces and dismantle the Internal Defence Corps. With an arsenal built for speed and destruction, players can power up their Phantom Core and even transform into the Armored Ramball to break through enemy lines with sheer force.
METAL EDEN’s world blends cyberpunk and dystopian sci-fi, with battles taking place both inside the towering structures of Moebius and the mysterious volcanic zone known as Vulcan below. As the conflict escalates, ASKA must confront the enigmatic Engineers and uncover the truth behind Project EDEN—a failed utopia that now threatens what’s left of humanity.
