THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have revealed a new build spotlight for Titan Quest II, highlighting the destructive potential of the Overwhelm Earthquake Elementalist—a hybrid of the Earth and Storm masteries. The deep dive arrives just days ahead of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, which airs August 1, where the team has promised new updates on the game’s Early Access release via Steam.

The Elementalist archetype is built around high-impact magic and moment-to-moment risk-reward gameplay. Its central combo revolves around Earthquake, a devastating channeled ability that ramps up in power the longer it’s charged. Getting in and surviving long enough to cast it is key—players use modified mobility skills like Thundercrash Blink and Ice Nova with Flash Freeze to enter combat and lock down enemies before unleashing a full-powered quake.
Synergy is at the core of the build. Supporting spells like Fissure and Ice Shards help clear out stragglers, generate Overwhelm stacks, and trigger extra effects such as shockwaves and frost explosions. Meanwhile, passives and feats are tuned to maximize energy regeneration, spell damage, and survivability—blending cold, lightning, and seismic force into one cohesive playstyle.
This latest build is part of an ongoing series where the developers spotlight specific mastery combinations. According to THQ Nordic, Titan Quest II’s deep modifier and feat systems are meant to empower players to customize combat in highly flexible ways—whether through precise synergies or experimental hybrids.
