RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores, Ravine Games’s upcoming kingdom-building strategy RPG will hold its next closed beta test from November 2 to November 9.

Following its recent separation from its publisher and shift to an early 2027 Early Access release, the studio has detailed several key improvements heading into the new test build. Recent updates focus on optimized performance with a new foliage system, a refreshed trade UI, a more cinematic camera, landmark attachment options for defense and economy, and an upcoming faction of weasel-inspired bandits.
Set across the continent of Nytland, RAEV tasks you with growing a small settlement into a thriving empire powered by fox-like citizens called Raevins, where managing villagers means assigning them specific roles – such as merchants, guards, or heroic adventurers – based on their unique traits and ambitions.
RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores is in development for PC via Steam and is scheduled to enter Early Access in early 2027.
