DaRmaZat Developer Windup Games and publisher Knights Peak have announced that Hela: of Mice & Magic will launch on December 1, 2026. A new narrative trailer highlights the origins of the protagonist mice and their enchanted Froggy Backpacks, which grant them magic tools to navigate their environment.
Inspired by Northern Swedish nature, Hela: of Mice & Magic is a cozy, exploration-driven 3D open-world adventure where players control a magical mouse familiar trying to restore harmony to a fading land while aiding an aging witch. The game features physics-based puzzles, foraging, potion brewing, and crafting across forests, meadows, and underground burrows. Designed for both solo play and split-screen or online co-op, the experience emphasizes non-violent interaction, environmental navigation, and small acts of kindness using physics-driven tools.
