Developer Error Thing and publisher PARCO GAMES have announced that DEPERSON, a hand-drawn psychological horror adventure, will be featured at The MIX Fall Showcase in Seattle this week, accompanied by a playable demo on Steam. The news follows the title’s recent nomination for Best Visuals at the Gamescom Awards 2026 and Excellence in Art at the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026.

Set in Indrija, a dystopian nation consumed by surveillance and fear, the game follows Aaron, an amnesiac man trying to discover who he is in a world where reality keeps shifting. You’ll solve classic point-and-click puzzles while also dealing with platforming, character abilities, and the environment itself. Each choice can change Aaron’s personality and lead to different endings.
DEPERSON is currently in development for PC via Steam with a playable Chapter 1 demo available now. A release date has not yet been announced.
