Argentine developer SoulBlade Studio and publisher indie.io have released SoulQuest on Nintendo Switch, marking the 2D spectacle fighter’s first console release following its launch on Steam.

Set in a world drawn from Celtic folklore and Arthurian myth, the game follows Alys, a warrior on a quest across the British Isles to reclaim her husband’s soul from Morrigan, the goddess of death. Drawing inspiration from 3D action series like Devil May Cry, SoulQuest features a freeform combo system that evaluates combat performance on a scale from F to SSS. The game combines pixel-art visuals, medieval-inspired music, and customizable light, heavy, and magic attacks.
SoulQuest is available now on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99, with a limited-time 20% launch discount.
