Ubisoft Announces Turn-Based Strategy Title Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics for 2027

Ubisoft has officially announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics, a turn-based tactical strategy game set within the Rainbow Six universe.

Putting players in the boots of Rainbow’s new overall commander, the game revolves around leading four-operator squads through tense, turn-based missions across global hotspots, including urban centers, airports, warehouses, and oil platforms. Objectives range from hostage rescue and bomb defusal to high-value target elimination.

Key features include:

• Operator Roster: Command iconic Rainbow Six Siege operators, each equipped with distinct abilities, specialized gear, and tactical gadgets.
• Destructible Environments & Synchronized Breaches: Deploy drones for reconnaissance, destroy cover to expose targets, and execute complex, multi-operator breach sequences to surprise enemies.
• HQ Management & Upgrades: Expand HQ departments, manage operator health, upgrade skillsets, customize gear loadouts, and gather intelligence to counter an escalating global conspiracy.

The title is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store, alongside cloud availability on GeForce NOW and Blacknut.
